Congratulations Nairoby Urena, Boston, MA
My name is Nairoby Urena, and I am from the Dominican Republic. As a devoted mother raising two children and immersed in early childhood education, my journey began six years ago within the walls of a childcare center. I was solely a mother to my now almost 6-year-old son. As time passed, I eagerly absorbed knowledge, constantly learning and applying it to my craft.
Initially, I was very shy, which prevented me from reaching my full potential. However, my passion for early childhood education drove me to explore different career paths within the same area, pushing me to evolve and refine my skills continuously.
The turning point in my narrative came when my youngest child inspired me to venture into entrepreneurship by opening my own Family Daycare. Despite encountering challenges in my past role, I triumphed over obstacles, creating a space where I could authentically nurture, educate, and care for children with boundless love. This work has proven to be one of the most rewarding experiences, allowing me to dedicate my entire being to the children in my care. They find a second home in my home, and it's important to me that they sense that familial warmth.
In this transformative journey, the Shared Services of Massachusetts emerged as my steadfast ally from day one. Discovering this invaluable resource has significantly impacted my inaugural year with my family daycare. Reflecting on my experience, I wish I had known about this platform earlier. The wealth of information and resources has been instrumental in navigating the initial steps of this venture.
With gratitude for my support, I am compelled to pay it forward. It only seems fair that everyone in my circle gains access to this remarkable platform. I have taken it upon myself to share the wealth of knowledge and resources of the Shared Services of Massachusetts with all my acquaintances. Let's empower each other and elevate our shared journey in early childhood education.
