What are you most passionate about in your work? “I would say the excitement on a child’s face when they accomplish a milestone.”
How did the Shared Services Business Workshops help you with your business? “Shared Services has widened many opportunities that I did not know existed. They have shown me ways to operate without overthinking and becoming frustrated. ”
Tell us your story:
I started as an assistant teacher for Mulberry Childcare when I was only 16 years old. From there, I continued to grow in the childcare field and became Teacher certified then soon after, Lead Teacher certified. I then transferred to a local preschool where I continued my education and became Lead Teacher certified, and finally, Director I and Director II qualified. My husband and I soon began a family of our own, and that’s when I decided to be a stay-at-home mom.
During this time, not only did I care for my children but the children of friends and family. My children grew and began school, which led me to work for a friend at her home daycare, and that’s something I’ve been doing for 5years now. I finally decided to take my love for children and care for them and opened my own home daycare, "The Learning Tree."
I am committed to supporting families by maintaining open communication and encouraging parental involvement in my program and care activities. My objective is to care for your child the same way you would
