Congratulations Lilliana Chacon, Newton, MA
Lilliana Chacon is a distinguished educator and passionate entrepreneur hailing from Costa Rica. With an extensive career spanning over 30 years in the field of education, Lilliana has left an indelible mark on the world of Montessori teaching and early childhood education.
Originally from Costa Rica, Lilliana embarked on a new chapter in her life by relocating to the United States in 2019. In the challenging times of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she seized the opportunity to establish her very own Family Child Care (FCC) program in Newton, Massachusetts. Named "Guaria Montessori," her Spanish Immersion program specializes in providing a nurturing environment for toddlers, catering to children aged 18 months to 3 years old, and strictly adheres to Massachusetts state regulations.
Guaria Montessori, which was created with the greatest and most innovative standards in child development, stands as a testament to Lilliana's commitment to educating successful, happy human beings. The program embodies her vision of fostering a learning environment that goes beyond traditional education to empower children with essential life skills and a genuine love for learning.
Lilliana's academic journey began in her homeland, Costa Rica, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education from the prestigious Universidad de Costa Rica. To further enrich her knowledge and skills, she pursued a postgraduate degree in Education Science with a focus on Educational Administration in 1995.
One of Lilliana's proudest accomplishments is the co-founding of Montessori Tortuga Verde in Costa Rica in 1993. This institution, established with a vision of creating a space where children can genuinely enjoy learning and develop lifelong skills, has been instrumental in enriching education in Costa Rica. Under Lilliana's guidance, Montessori Tortuga Verde has introduced various pioneering programs that have transformed the educational landscape in the region.
Among her many contributions to early childhood education is the creation of the Early Infants Education Program. This innovative initiative provides private guidance and support to families, enabling them to optimize their infants' development in all domains. The program is designed for infants from birth to 2 years old, recognizing the profound impact of early childhood experiences on a child's development.
Lilliana's commitment to excellence and her entrepreneurial spirit shine through her educational endeavors. In addition to her academic achievements, she completed the Shared Services Business Training program, further equipping her to develop and manage her FCC program with the utmost professionalism and expertise.
Lilliana Chacon's journey from Costa Rica to the United States is a testament to her unyielding dedication to Montessori education and early childhood development. Her establishment of Guaria Montessori in Newton, Massachusetts, is proof of her unwavering commitment to providing high-quality educational experiences for young children.
